Your team isn’t going to tell you this directly, so I will. Everybody hates your weekly team meeting.
You’ve convinced yourself it keeps everyone aligned. But your team already knows what’s happening. They communicate during the week. Like adults.
Here’s the proof: when you can’t attend, the meeting doesn’t happen. Think about that. If the meeting were actually for the team, they’d hold it without you.
Your weekly team meeting isn’t broken because you’re running it wrong (although you probably are). It’s broken because it was designed for you, not for them.
🎧 Press play. Cancel the meeting.
In this episode:
▶ The dare: cancel next week’s meeting and see who panics (spoiler: nobody)
▶ How your team banks updates all week to survive the meeting
▶ Why decisions get delayed because of your weekly team meeting
▶ The 5 ways to make it actually benefit the team
▶ The most important question you should ask
If you keep adding meetings to fix problems your meetings created, this one’s for you.
