2. If only | The power of perspective and why it’s keeping you stuck

A professor draws a tiny black dot in the middle of a blank piece of paper. He holds it up to the class. Every student talks about the dot.
Nobody mentions the 99% of the paper that’s blank.
That’s the power of perspective. As Anais Nin said: “We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.” Your filter is invisible to you, but it’s everywhere. And the most common version I hear from my coaching clients sounds like this: “If only I had more staff. If only I had a better team. If only…”
If only is a trap. And in this episode, I’ll show you the 4-step Mad Libs exercise to climb out of it.
🎧 Press play. Stop staring at the dot.
In this episode:
▶ The professor’s dot experiment and the power of perspective it reveals
